³ÉÈ˵¼º½ has a long history and continued commitment to supporting active military, veterans, and their families as they pursue higher education. Some highlights of our commitment to serving the students who serve our country include:
Tuition
Shopping Sheets
Fees
Note: Veterans and civilians will pay the regular tuition rate and pay all of the fees unless otherwise noted above.Â
Tuition Assistance (TA)
Tuition Assistance (TA) is funding that military students can use for college courses. This includes all branches of the military.
The military will pay 100% of the tuition charged by a college up to those maximums.
Why am I getting a bill if I requested TA?
You can request Tuition Assistance eight weeks before the start date. TA cannot bill for the course until it is 19% complete. Once you have completed 19%, the invoice period to bill the government for the course is the 16th of each month. Payment can take up to 30 more days. Students will receive monthly statements until the balance is paid in full. TA does not pay any out-of-pocket fees or cover the cost of books.
ArmyIgnitED
ArmyIgnitED is a virtual gateway where active duty Army and reservists can request Tuition Assistance (TA) for classes.
To use ArmyIgnitED at ³ÉÈ˵¼º½, you must:
What if I am Air Force, Marine, or Navy?
All other branches may submit a paper TA form to their respective branch office for billing. Please check with your branch office for information on current availability of TA.
Students using VA benefits must submit a Veterans Certification Request each semester to receive benefits. Report any changes in your schedule immediately to your VA Certifying Official.
